From Wiki:
"Bad4Good was a heavy metal band formed in 1991 by guitarist Steve Vai. The band was a quartet of talented teenagers, the oldest of whom was 16. McRocklin had previously appeared in one of Vai's videos ("The Audience Is Listening"), Cooksey had a career [He was Budnick on Salute Your Shorts, and had a brief stint in the beginning of Terminator 2] as an actor, and Wackerman is the youngest brother of longtime Frank Zappa drummer Chad Wackerman."'

This is actually really good. Much better than the circumstances would warrant. These kids knew what they were doing. Apparently, the guitarist was 12 at the time of recording. TWELVE.

From Wiki:
"The song "Planet Rock" was one of the earliest hits for hip hop and remains one of its pioneering recordings. The single's liner notes credit Kraftwerk with the song. In creating the track, portions of Kraftwerk's "Trans Europe Express" were used, along with portions of songs by Captain Sky and Ennio Morricone. Rather than sampling these works digitally, the phrases were re-recorded in the studio. 'Planet Rock' is also cited as the first electro funk record"
